Never mind that Wikipedia lists our funny baby clothes business as the #3 industry in our lovely town of Mooresville, NC because the real proof of our fame and notoriety has landed on our doorstep. Wry Baby HQ has made the cover of this years phone book!

We were so excited until Kelly took a closer look and saw that Donald, our disastrous temp hire, happened to be working the day the photo was taken.

We had to fire Donald (you can read all about that ordeal here) but now we have all year to be reminded of his time with us. Bummer.

We had to let our temp staffer, Donald, go today. And by “go” I mean we totally fired his a**. Things finally came to a head this afternoon when Kelly told him not to come in tomorrow. Typically, Donald lost it completely and started trashing the office until he got tired and quietly left. Honestly, good help really IS hard to find!

Good riddance to bad bananas, we say! Terri Cola comes back tomorrow! Yay!

Okay, I don’t know if someone said something to Donald, our temp who’s here until Terri gets back, but he just went totally crazy NUTS this morning! For, like, zero reason! It’d be really funny if it wasn’t so freaking scary. He’s calm now, as I type this, but that was just too, too much. And we didn’t even press the whole “pooping on the floor” thing! Seriously, we’re so glad it’s Friday so we can get away from Donald. Come back, Terri Cola!

Donald was fine until he got off the phone.

Then he goes completely ape s***. And I don’t mean that disrespectfully.

Afterward he stayed under the order desk for a while. Awkward!! Later he took a big order for Super Snapsuits, so it turned out to be an okay morning otherwise.

It’s October 1 and the sweaty, humid sstench of latex masks has already filled the air here at Wry Baby. Or is that just Donald? Anyway, it’s our favorite month here at Wry Baby, so look for some fun Halloween baby clothes, Halloween treats and Halloween ideas for having the best Halloween ever.

I’m sorry, but this is awful. I’m not saying outright that Donald, our new temp, did this, but come on… there’s only Kelly and I here while Terri’s gone and I certainly didn’t do it. Kelly, who found “it” by her desk this morning, is horrified beyond belief. That leaves Donald. We’re not sure what to do. He was acting kind of weird before we left for the day yesterday and when we asked him about it this morning he said it must be mice. He also said that it wasn’t there when he left. But then he acted really weird after our chat. We don’t know what to think. But we really miss Terri, that’s for sure.

Last Friday we brought on a temp to help us out with orders for our funny baby clothes while Terri was out on vacation. It’s going alright, I guess, but there really are drawbacks to working with new people. There’s training, but that’s true of anyone you hire. I’m talking about chemistry. Donald’s nice, but there are little things that are starting to bug. It’s only day 2 of his temporary employment with Wry Baby, so maybe things will get better. If you call, please don’t say anything to Donald, ‘kay?

Thing is, Donald’s kind of messy. This is the Wry Baby bathroom on Donald’s first day. At noon! It’s this kind of stuff that could get old really fast. But how do you tell him to improve on “not leaving hair all over the bathroom”. Kinda gross.
