Our funny baby book, the best-selling Safe Baby Handling Tips crops up in the darndest places. A fan sent us this photo of our funny baby book filed in the Child Psychology section at a Borders Books in California. I suppose that our handling tips can be helpful in some way. For the tragically idiotic, perhaps.

Did you know an author (or his/her publisher) has no real control over where your book is filed in those big box bookstores? True. Our other funny baby book, (our hilarious take on the baby journal, The New Parents’ Fun Book) is permanently housed a few books away from Dr. Spock in the Child Development section at both Borders and Barnes and Noble. Not with the other baby journals at all. Weird, no?

This page from our hit baby journal, The New Parents’ Fun Book, is so unintentionally seasonally themed that we couldn’t help but share. The New Parents’ Fun Book baby journal has been really well received and pages like this are the reason. Instead of recording usual the boring line-up of relatives, why not group them by their “stand-out” personalities? Who is the funniest? Who tells the best stories? Who’s been arrested? You know your tree is full of these kinds of nuts!

Marisa Bardach over at babyzone.com put together a great little list of the top 10 little things that find their way into little noses. Crayons and fingers are expected, but french fries? It’s funny how much of it’s food related! And Wii remotes didn’t make the list at all. Weird.

When we had our little guy, the delivery was all over the map. From dramatic to scary to hard to easy to downright dull (gotta love the epidural). When we were penning the over-stuffed, over popular New Parents’ Fun Book, we wanted a page that would record your experience in the delivery room in a non-traumatic, flashback inducing way.
