This page from our hit baby journal, The New Parents’ Fun Book, is so unintentionally seasonally themed that we couldn’t help but share. The New Parents’ Fun Book baby journal has been really well received and pages like this are the reason. Instead of recording usual the boring line-up of relatives, why not group them by their “stand-out” personalities? Who is the funniest? Who tells the best stories? Who’s been arrested? Marisa Bardach over at babyzone.com put together a great little list of the top 10 little things that find their way into little noses. Crayons and fingers are expected, but french fries? It’s funny how much of it’s food related! And Wii remotes didn’t make the list at all. Weird.

When we had our little guy, the delivery was all over the map. From dramatic to scary to hard to easy to downright dull (gotta love the epidural). When we were penning the over-stuffed, over popular New Parents’ Fun Book, we wanted a page that would record your experience in the delivery room in a non-traumatic, flashback inducing way. It’s said that Mother Nature wipes your memory almost clear of that labor experience so as to trick you into doing it again. And again. And, sometimes, again. So this page may act as a nice, gentle reminder that maybe you want to keep the family unit small after all.

With the launch of Wry Baby’s New Parents’ Fun Book coming next week (June 2 on wrybaby.com) I wanted to play the week out by sharing some of our favorite pages. Being the Dad in the Wry Baby family, and with MY day, Father’s Day, coming up, I thought I’d share some of the activities for Dads that are included in the book.

Daddy’s Favorite is a spread from the Fun Book for Dad to list his interests, passions and hobbies that he’ll perhaps be taking a year long vacation from once Junior arrives. This fun-to-fill-in list includes: Favorite Hobby, Favorite Sport and Favorite Drink. Oh, and A Celebrity I Think Is Totally Hot along with the favorites below:

Classic baby journals let you log your baby’s specs for that first year (yawn), but we here at Wry Baby think the family unit needs a little more fun and attention. What were you all like?
