As we round the corner and head into the week before the New York International Gift Fair, we feel we need to share some super bad news with you all. It’s true that Wry Baby is launching 30 NEW fun products in NY and among them is the brand new…wait for it…Super Bad Super Snapsuit!

We were hoping to add onto our popular line of Super Snapsuits and were working on doing just that in our underground laboratory when suddenly a radioactive cobra bit Dave and a team of highly trained monkey ninjas blew the place up. From the wreckage came this, the Super Bad Super Snapsuit! It’s not available in stores this Spetember, but we thought you’d like some sneak peeks at what will be available this Fall. We had a photoshoot a few weeks ago with all sorts of cute little babinskis. While working on the selects we came across this photo and it so captured what Wry Baby is all about that we had to share it with y’alls. Un-retouched joy and fun in our Super Snapsuit. It’s seeing stuff like this that convinces us we’re doing something worthwhile!

Another Super Baby has been spotted! Authorities claim the baby, called Tebow, arrived quite spectacularly and single-handedly wrestled a grey blanket into submission. These dramatic action photos were taken by little Tebow’s Mom, Allie, who had this to say, “My baby IS super!” Due to this adorable evidence, we have to agree. Thanks, Alli!

It’s been a week of hot press leading up to the big New York International Gift Fair and the launching of Wry Baby’s new Spring line. Funny thing is, all the press is about the fun baby gifts we already made. The Insider picked up our Super Snapsuits, Super Cute(for girls) and I’m Super(for boys). Last Summer, at the New York International Gift Fair, a video crew from Gifts.com popped into our booth to do a bit on our super-fun Super Snapsuits for the Gifts.com site. So with lights glaring and surrounded by our fun trade show neighbors (who were merciless with their distracting antics, thankyouverymuch), we shot this little press promo for our Super Snapsuit. While painful in the extreme for me to watch (I’m terrible!), it may be fun for you to sit through. But only if you have plenty of adult beverages on hand and if you take a big, long drink every time I say “zoom” or “zooming“. Hey, I was making it up on the fly (so to speak)!

Kelly and I always thought our kid was pretty super (and still is! Still is!!! Sorry, Pal!). Doesn’t every parent? So why not show the world exactly how super your kid is? Besides, there’s something inherently funny about strollering around with a tiny, seemingly helpless infant who’s wearing a super hero outfit. Because there’s nothing like it out there for babies, we sort of had to noodle the construction of the Super Snapsuit ourselves (as apposed to riffing the traditional bodysuit form.

The silky cape of the Wry Baby Super Snapsuit is cleverly (and firmly) sewn into the shoulder seams and is tacked in three places in the back to keep your baby aerodynamic and safe. The “I’m Super” version of the Super Snapsuit that we offer at wrybaby.com has a gold cape and a big blue star that’s appliquéd onto the center as an extra touch. The black outline of the type across the chest is even in puffy ink for a super 3D effect.
