This page from our hit baby journal, The New Parents’ Fun Book, is so unintentionally seasonally themed that we couldn’t help but share. The New Parents’ Fun Book baby journal has been really well received and pages like this are the reason. Instead of recording usual the boring line-up of relatives, why not group them by their “stand-out” personalities? Who is the funniest? Who tells the best stories? Who’s been arrested? You know your tree is full of these kinds of nuts!

Marisa Bardach over at babyzone.com put together a great little list of the top 10 little things that find their way into little noses. Crayons and fingers are expected, but french fries? It’s funny how much of it’s food related! And Wii remotes didn’t make the list at all. Weird.
Of course, nose stuffing is a popular baby pastime and we pay tribute in our New Parents’ Fun Book. Here’s a peeky bo-beeky at Hidden Treasures from Wry Baby’s New Parents’ Fun Book:

Yay! Our first full fledged review of our new New Parents’ Fun Book and it’s a hit! The folks over at coolmompicks.com are famous for finding the very best baby stuffs from all over the world and we’re super honored that our New Parents’ Fun Book ranks high in their expert opinion. And here’s some of that opinion now:
This book is a riot, as would be expected from Wry Baby. It turns every point of new parent stress on its head by looking at the funny side of it. There’s a “curse”word puzzle, diaper Rorschach tests, and a nickname maker-upper. Even a super-serious first time mom like I was will find it irresistible
See the rest of the review here. The New Parents’ Fun Book is available in all bookstores and on wrybaby.com now for just $12.95. Want a peek inside? Check it out here, Mr./Mrs. Curiouspants!

When we had our little guy, the delivery was all over the map. From dramatic to scary to hard to easy to downright dull (gotta love the epidural). When we were penning the over-stuffed, over popular New Parents’ Fun Book, we wanted a page that would record your experience in the delivery room in a non-traumatic, flashback inducing way. It’s said that Mother Nature wipes your memory almost clear of that labor experience so as to trick you into doing it again. And again. And, sometimes, again. So this page may act as a nice, gentle reminder that maybe you want to keep the family unit small after all.

With the launch of Wry Baby’s New Parents’ Fun Book coming next week (June 2 on wrybaby.com) I wanted to play the week out by sharing some of our favorite pages. Being the Dad in the Wry Baby family, and with MY day, Father’s Day, coming up, I thought I’d share some of the activities for Dads that are included in the book.
Daddy’s Favorite is a spread from the Fun Book for Dad to list his interests, passions and hobbies that he’ll perhaps be taking a year long vacation from once Junior arrives. This fun-to-fill-in list includes: Favorite Hobby, Favorite Sport and Favorite Drink. Oh, and A Celebrity I Think Is Totally Hot along with the favorites below:
Classic baby journals let you log your baby’s specs for that first year (yawn), but we here at Wry Baby think the family unit needs a little more fun and attention. What were you all like? What were you doing? What was going on in your life during that first crazy year? Our idea was that years from now, when little Clarise is starting a family of her own, her copy of the New Parent’s Fun Book will offer a wealth of memories, advice and hilarity from her first crazy year.
You can see other sneak peeks at Wry Baby’s New Parents’ Fun Book by clicking here. Or you can order one for yourself June 2, from your pals at wrybaby.com

Wry Baby’s New Parents’ Fun Book is almost here! Below is one of our favorite pages from the New Parents’ Fun Book - The Fun Friend Test.
Here’s the scenario. You have a baby and suddenly your single hipster fiends are all trying desperately to stay relevant. Offers for babysitting duty come pouring in. But what some of your pals don’t realize is that they’re single and hip for a reason. This little fill-in mailer let’s them down gently by telling them that, while they are, indeed, dear friends, their services aren’t, well, you know…required?
Wry Baby’s mission with the New Parents’ Fun Book is to update (or re-invent) the classic baby journal and make it fun for both Mom and Dad to fill out. Something that’s as much about them as it is little Horace or Henrietta. A cool baby journal that, when finished, will be a perfect snapshot of what your new family was like in the first, fun-filled year. The New Parents’ Fun Book makes a cool baby shower gift or just a funny baby gift for yourself.
Wry Baby’s New Parents’ Fun Book is available June 2 for the laughably low sum of $12.95 at wrybaby.com. Wry Baby hosts a bajillion other smart, sassy, funny baby gifts, too. Just so’s you knows.

Here’s another sneak peek at a The New Parents’ Fun Book, by Wry Baby (makers of funny baby clothes, unique shower gifts and cool baby t-shirts). As we’ve explained before, Wry Baby is much more than funny baby clothes or unique baby outfits, and this update of the stale old baby book is our favorite shower gift yet.
Wry Baby asks: Is Dad often away on business? Or maybe a little too addicted to golf, fishing or bicycling? Then Wry Baby’s Father Figure craft is for you! Just cut out our Wry Baby Father Figure according to the directions, glue a few tabs with a glue stick and you’ve got a Portable Pop that will always be there for you! Put your Portable Pop on a shelf in the baby room to keep baby company at night. Keep a Portable Pop in the car to keep order in the backseat. A Father Figure in the bathroom makes sure kids brush their teeth the full two minutes! This Father Figure is always there for you and he’s waiting for YOU right now in Wry Baby’s new baby book, The New Parents’ Fun Book (available for pre-order at amazon here or on www.wrybaby.com June 2). Don’t make him come over there!
Wry Baby founder, Kelly Sopp, poses with a completed Father Figure from the new Wry Baby baby book, The New Parents’ Fun Book. She was later grounded for a week and has to take out the garbage for a month. See more fun shower gifts at wrybaby.com
